[It's the day of the ball he, Lelouch, and Euphemia put together at such a late notice-- and it turned out rather beautifully. It just goes to show what money can buy. He fidgets with the cuffs of his new suit a little bit--somewhat wanting to keep his mind off the pressing matters of earlier. All of this happened so fast, but he wasn't about to jeopardize things back home by not going through with it]

[He moves away from the table of food and across the spacious floor, through the flood of people. It was somewhat comforting to know that guests weren't in short supply, wherever this was.]

[And he thinks he may have found who he was looking for--]

Ah...good evening! [he smiles warmly] I guess it turned out alright after all.

And after meeting Lulu yesterday, and erm...not being in Japan to host a party, they're having it here. And it is a v. v. fancy party.
